Osiris
Our Osiris concludes the Egyptian mythology series and is simultaneously the first Witbier of our brewery.
The second Egyptian god creation is another moon god, welcome the god of science and magic - Thoth.
When the final journey begins and the heart of a deceased is weighed against the feather of truth (Ma’at), he stands ready: Thoth, the ibis-headed god of wisdom, magic, and science.
He is the divine scribe who keeps the record of the court of the dead. No detail escapes him, no judgment is passed without his cool, analytical recording. As a moon god, he brings light into the darkness of the afterlife and orders chaos with logic and reason. He is the inventor of hieroglyphs and the master of chronology – the epitome of intellectual sharpness.
For the sharpest mind of the Egyptian pantheon, we chose a beer style that requires modern brewing science: A Cold IPA.
This style is a technical finesse, entirely in the spirit of Thoth. We used a classic bottom-fermenting yeast, but let it work at warmer (top-fermenting) temperatures. The result is a beer that is as clear and precise as a mathematical formula, but with the fruity soul of an ale.
To continue the Egyptian agricultural tradition, we added flaked corn to this brew. These ensure a lean body and a pleasant, light sweetness. Thoth is a crisp, hop-forward beer that fits perfectly into spring – refreshingly logical and magically good.
To some it is magic. To some it is science. I see no difference.

Our first goddess from African mythology is named Nanã Buruku. She receives a fine Coconut Cream Ale.
The first deity from our Celtic mythology series is Teutates, an Amber Ale with spelt malt and refined with linden blossoms.
