The Legend

A lightning-charged West Coast IPA packed with brutal hop bitterness, resinous pine notes, and thundering citrus crispness.

Born from the wrath and embers of the underworld, Raijin – the fearsome god of thunder and lightning – ascended to dominate the celestial vault. Framed by an arch of blazing drums (Taiko), this horned, red-skinned demon-deity hammers out the primal rhythm of the storm. Each strike rattles the firmament, shattering peaks with lightning bolts and signaling the tempest’s arrival.

In ancient Japan, his fury was dreaded, yet farmers revered him as the bearer of life-giving rains. When Raijin charges across the cedar-clad slopes, his electric fury purges the world of silence and lethargy. He knows no compromise and tolerates no hesitation – his power is absolute, pure, and raw.

The Beer

Our West Coast IPA captures the unfiltered energy of the Thunder God. Striking like a jagged bolt of lightning, this brew commands your palate: unapologetic, dry, and fortified with an assertive bitterness that takes no prisoners.

It pours a brilliant, luminous straw-yellow. With the addition of fine rice flakes, the malt bill of Pilsner, Vienna, and Carapils remains exceptionally lean and relentlessly dry. From the very first pour, the hop powerhouse of Chinook, CTZ, Idaho 7, and Strata unleashes an electric charge of pungent pine needles, bitter grapefruit, and damp forest floor layered with tropical flashes of passion fruit and strawberry. It finishes razor-sharp, bone-dry, and uncompromisingly bitter.

A beer forged like a mountain storm over evergreen pines: ferocious, untamed, and brimming with primal electricity.

My drums rend the sky asunder, my lightning pierces the night. One strike, one rupture – and silence gives way to raw power.
