Luna
The last Roman deity is the moon goddess Luna, sister of the sun god Sol - a Pale Ale as bright as moonlight.
Our first beer from the Roman mythology is the goddess of the dawn - Aurora. The cerevisia barbaricvm was made with a Kveik yeast.
Every great day begins with her. Before the sun reaches its zenith, it is Aurora, the goddess of the dawn, who bathes the sky in soft pastel tones. She is the harbinger of light, the sister of Sol (sun) and Luna (moon).
Every morning she rises from the ocean to open the gates of heaven with her rose-colored fingers and banish the darkness of the night. She not only announces the new day, but in our case also the beginning of a whole new era: Our Roman gods series. Like the first ray of sun on the horizon, Aurora stands for departure, hope, and the start of an epic journey through the day.
For the beginning, we needed something that breaks the boundaries of the Roman Empire. The Romans called everything foreign and wild from the far north “barbaric”. And that is exactly what we put into the bottle: A Cerevisia Barbaricvm.
Behind this Latin name hides a Kveik Pale Ale. We used an ancient Norwegian yeast (Kveik) – a “barbaric” ingredient that was probably entirely unknown to the cultured Romans. This special yeast works at higher temperatures and produces incredible fruit aromas in record time.
The result is a beer as fresh and invigorating as the morning itself. With tropical notes and a sparkling lightness, it awakens the spirits and is the perfect start to our Roman cycle. Ave Aurora!
Gently I announce the new day, renewed and fresh my rays stroke across your face. Listen, my brother Sol is coming.
The last Roman deity is the moon goddess Luna, sister of the sun god Sol - a Pale Ale as bright as moonlight.
Our first goddess from African mythology is named Nanã Buruku. She receives a fine Coconut Cream Ale.
The first deity from our Celtic mythology series is Teutates, an Amber Ale with spelt malt and refined with linden blossoms.
