The Legend

The last Roman deity is the moon goddess Luna, sister of the sun god Sol - a Pale Ale as bright as moonlight.

The circle closes. When Hesperos fades and the world is shrouded in darkness, she takes up the watch: Luna, the Roman moon goddess. She is the mystical counterpart to her brother Sol. While he stands for the blazing fire of day, Luna embodies the cool, silvery light of night.

On her chariot, she rides across the star-studded firmament, bringing light into the darkest hours. She is the silent companion of dreamers and night owls, the mistress of the tides, and the gentle glow that guides us safely through the darkness until Aurora begins the cycle anew.

The Beer

For the mistress of the night, we have not brewed a dark beer, but a bright light: A Pale Ale that shimmers in the glass like the full moon itself.

Fittingly for the ingredients used, it bears the name Cerevisia Gallicvm – the beer from Gaul. We have sourced our ingredients from our neighbors in Alsace (ancient Gaul).

This ale was brewed with the noble French hop varieties Mistral and Triskel. These give the beer an elegance worthy of the moon goddess: a fresh, fruity note paired with fine floral aromas reminiscent of a cool summer night. A beer that does not banish the darkness but makes it the most beautiful moment of the day.

Let me be your bright light in this dark night.
