Some stories are so powerful that they cannot remain hidden. Our Mami Wata is actually one of the noble legacy brews of the Gods Brewery—a memorable concoction that didn’t quite make it into our permanent lineup. But when the Museen Thurgau invite you on an interdisciplinary journey into the world of legends, the mighty African water deity simply cannot resist.
From June 12 to November 22, 2026, a space full of stories comes to life at Werk2 in Arbon: The special exhibition «Sehnsucht Mythos. Wie Geschichten unsere Welt gestalten» explores how myths deeply shape our culture, art, and society to this day.
Liquid Mythology Amidst the Art
At the center of the exhibition stands a symbolic tree—and hanging from its branches are the fruits of human storytelling. We are bringing a very special, liquid fruit with us to Arbon.
We from the Gods Brewery will be personally on-site for the opening night on June 12, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM. We are reviving the legend of the alluring and unpredictable water deity for a unique, strictly limited reunion. Visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase and enjoy this rare divine brew directly on-site.
Come by, wander between regional sagas and distant legends, and let yourself be enchanted by the fascination of the myth—both in the glass and in the room.
